Terms of Service
Effective 6 July 2026
These terms are an agreement between you and Videoized ("we", "us") covering your use of videoized.com and the Videoized service (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
1. What the Service does
Videoized takes a video URL you submit, downloads and transcribes the video, and generates short clips with captions that you can review, edit and download. Processing is automated; results vary with the source material, and we don't guarantee any particular quality, accuracy of transcription or captions, or suitability of the generated clips.
2. Your account
You need an account to use the Service. Keep your password secure — you're responsible for activity under your account. You must provide a working email address so we can reach you about your account and billing. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use the Service.
3. Your content and your responsibility
You choose which videos the Service processes. By submitting a URL you confirm that you have the necessary rights or permissions to download, process and create derivative clips from that video — for example because it's your own content, you have the creator's permission, or your use is otherwise lawful where you are. The Service processes videos on your instruction; responsibility for that instruction is yours.
You keep all rights you have in your source videos and in the clips generated from them. You give us the limited permission needed to operate the Service: downloading, storing, transcribing and processing your submitted videos and storing the resulting clips so you can access them.
Don't use the Service to process content that is illegal, infringes others' rights, or is intended to harass, defame or harm. We may refuse to process content and may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.
4. Plans, limits and billing
The Service has a free plan and paid subscription plans. Each plan's limits (videos per month, clips per video, maximum video length, and similar) are as described on our pricing page and are enforced by the Service. We may change plan features or pricing; changes to paid plans take effect at your next billing cycle and we'll give notice of material changes.
Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly until cancelled. You can switch plans or cancel any time from the billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Downgrades between paid plans also apply at the end of the period. We don't refund partial billing periods; if you believe you've been billed in error, contact support@videoized.com and we'll sort it out.
5. Storage and retention
Generated clips remain available for download for at least 90 days from creation, after which we may delete them to manage storage. Download anything you want to keep. If you delete your account, your jobs and clips are deleted with it.
6. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to circumvent plan limits, probe or disrupt the Service, access other users' data, resell the Service, or use it in a way that imposes unreasonable load. We may apply technical limits (like queue priority and rate limits) to keep the Service working for everyone.
7. Availability and changes
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it reliable but don't guarantee uninterrupted operation, and processing times vary with load and source platforms. Third-party platforms we download from can change or block access in ways outside our control. We may modify or discontinue features; if we discontinue the Service entirely, we'll give reasonable notice so you can download your clips.
8. Termination
You can stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, with notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive (like limitation of liability) survive termination.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law: we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of content you didn't download; and our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that can't be excluded under applicable law, including your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and disputes are subject to the courts there, unless the law where you live gives you mandatory protections that apply instead.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. For material changes we'll give notice (for example by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them.
